We sinned, and Jesus paid the price. To be saved from eternal torment in hell, a person must repent (turn away) from all sin and believe (trust) that Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross is the only option for the entirety of all of their sins to be removed. Salvation is a free gift (0% your good works, 100% Jesus’ blood). Therefore, Jesus is the only way to heaven.
