Matthew 7:6 – Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.
âJesus is the holy Pearl of Great Price handed over to the dogs and thrown before pigs. They trampled, mistreated, insulted, ridiculed and attacked Him.
âPhilippians 3:2 – Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh.
Here’s the definition of mutilate: inflict a violent and disfiguring injury on.
âMark 15:25 – It was nine in the morning when they crucified Him.
âPsalm 22:16 – For dogs encompass Me; a company of evildoers encircles Me; they have pierced My hands and feet.
âPsalm 56:2 – My enemies trample on Me all day long, for many attack Me proudly.
Biblically speaking, “pigs” are people who are unclean, enjoy living in uncleanness, are not reborn, are hard-hearted, and are unwilling to come in humility to the Cleanser (Jesus). Don’t give your pearls (wisdom and gems of godly revelation) to those who are filled with judgementalism. Allow their heart to soften before sharing.
Behold Jesus keeping silent and not sharing His pearls with prideful pharisees who hate Him and refuse to receive anything from Him:
Matthew 21:25-27 (NKJV) (Jesus speaking) – “The baptism of Johnâwhere was it from? From heaven or from men?â And they reasoned among themselves, saying, âIf we say, âFrom heaven,â He will say to us, âWhy then did you not believe him?â 26 But if we say, âFrom men,â we fear the multitude, for all count John as a prophet.â 27 So they answered Jesus and said, âWe do not know.â And He said to them, âNeither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
