2 Corinthians 3:18 – And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Context = The glory of the Jesus
The Holy Spirit is leading our life journey into beholding one degree of Jesus’ glory to the next degree of His glory. The true direction of our lives is being guided, not to our own greatness, but to the endless unfolding of Jesus’ majesty instead. Therefore, His magnificence is the premier subject matter in our story, and just like with Jesus’ disciples, the Holy Spirit is taking us on an adventure to behold Jesus’ glory displayed, and then once displayed, He leads us on to His next unveiling.

Matthew 17:1 – And after six days Jesus took with Him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 And He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became white as light.
Hebrews 2:10 – For it was fitting that He, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the Founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.
