Matthew 6:22 – “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.”
Watch what unfolds when Jesus becomes the centerpiece of Matthew 6:22.
Revelation 1:14 – The hairs of His head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire (torch or lamp).
Jesus’ eye is the lamp of the body. Since the fire in His eyes is an extremely healthy, single-focused fiery desire for us, the entire body of Christ is currently brimming over with light.
Revelation 19:12 – His eyes are like blazing fire, and on His head are many crowns. He has a name written on Him that no one knows but He Himself.
Isaiah 6:3 – And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!”
These heavenly beings are seeing Jesus fully exposed like Peter, James, and John saw Him on the mountain in Matthew 17. When they clearly behold Jesus, their next thought isn’t how dirty, sinful, and vile the earth is, but instead they declare that the entirety of the earth is currently overrun with Jesus’ glory.
When we behold Jesus unveiled, our evaluation of the earth, the Church, and those around us will be similar to the seraphim’s opinion.
Therefore, in the same way the six-winged angels say the earth is full of His glory, we will gaze into His rapturous eyes of fire and proclaim, “Your whole body is full of light!”
