Jesus > Noah

Genesis 6:14 – Make yourself an ark of gopher wood.

Noah, the carpenter, worked with wood to offer salvation to himself, his family, and his neighbors.

Jesus, the Carpenter, worked with wood to offer salvation to the entire earth.

Salvation comes through a Man utilizing wood and working with His hands.

During the flood, Noah and his family are on a wooden ark safe and sound while the world perishes.

Hebrews 11:7 – By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

During the flood of sin thrashing the Son of God, Jesus is on a wooden cross being martyred so that the world doesn’t perish.

John 3:17 – For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Psalm 69:2 – I have come into deep waters, and the flood sweeps over Me.
