Human Anatomy

The human body, fashioned 6 days after the formation of the earth, is a truly ancient invention. Whosoever claims the title of Original Designer over this territory of creation is undoubtedly the One True God.

Psalm 139:14 – I praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

The Sternum

The sternum is a long flat bone located in the center of the chest. It connects to the ribs via cartilage and forms the front of the rib cage, thus helping to protect the heart and all the other vital organs in the chest cavity.

The sternum, with the connected collarbones on either side, is in the shape of a perfect cross. The Lord has decided that the humility of Jesus through His crucifixion is central to all things. The cross, which connects all members of the body in heaven and earth also protects our hearts and preserves life.

Hebrews 12:3 – Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

The Lungs

A human being is created with 2 lungs that are seated around 24 white ribs. The oxygen-filled lungs are symbolic of the Father and the Son filled with the same breath like substance, the Holy Spirit. One lung in particular is seated at the right hand of the other and is perfectly mirrored in image to the one on its left.

Revelation 4:4 – Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.

Hebrews 1:3 – He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

The Head

At the top and center of the human body, the head is fixed. The head is the focal point of a human being, and it is located at the highest centered position of every person, in the same way that the keystone of a building is enthroned at the loftiest central location.

Colossians 1:18 – And He is the Head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the Firstborn from the dead, that in everything He might be preeminent.

Psalm 89:27 – And I will make Him the Firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

Also, the brain, located hidden inside the head, is a living creative prophecy which declares that all knowledge and wisdom is concealed in Jesus, the Head of the body.

Colossians 2:3 – in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

In addition, when the head and the body are severed from one another they both perish; and so Jesus, separated from His people because of sin, died to rejoin the Head to the Body.

The Hair

The average person has about 100,000 hairs on their head. Now women in particular have an interesting inheritance here, because typically their longer hair surrounds their head.

100,000 hairs surrounding the head is symbolic of the myriads of angels that encircle Jesus the Head of the body.

Revelation 5:11 – Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands.

A woman has the honor of prophetically declaring with her natural image a picture of heaven’s throne room. And when the hair grows in length it extends downward and touches the parts of the body that are closest to the head. Even so it is with the members of the body that are closest to Jesus; they experience angelic encounters (ex: Mary Magdalene, John the Beloved).

1 Corinthians 11:10 – That is why a wife ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.

The Spine

The spinal column is made up of 33 bones engineered within 5 regions. The vertebrae provides the foundational support system for the entire body, and it allows a person to stand, bend, twist, and walk uprightly.

4 major regions + 1 minor region: cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacrum + coccyx

The 4 gospels, plus the first chapter of Acts, detail Jesus’ 33 years on the earth, and more specifically, His descent from heaven’s royalty to earth’s poverty, and then His final humiliation into the grave being treated like the scum of the world. The backbone beautifully declares the story of God’s Beloved Son.

On a grand scale, the global body of Christ is structured and built upon Jesus’ life story, and also any individual who makes God’s Son the pinnacle of their existence can walk uprightly and effectively for long journeys throughout the whole course of life.

Colossians 2:6 – Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, 7 rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

Interestingly enough, before Jesus leaves the earth in the first chapter of Acts, His words are recorded in a sum total of exactly 4 verses, which perfectly corresponds to the coccyx region which is composed of 4 fused bones.

The Ears

On either side of the head there are two canals or entrances for hearing that lead into the head (brain).

The ear on the right is symbolic of the Father.
The ear on the left is symbolic of the Holy Spirit.
The head in the center is symbolic of Jesus.

John 6:45 – It is written in the prophets, ‘And they will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.

Our Father leads us into knowing the Person of Jesus.

John 16:13 – When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all the Truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take what is Mine and declare it to you.

The Holy Spirit leads us into knowing the Person of Jesus.

The Hands & Feet

Jesus, Our Designer, gave us two hands and two feet, each with five appendages.

Mark 12:30 – And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Matthew 22:38 – This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

The four fingers that are pointing vertically represent loving Jesus with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And the thumb which is like the others is pointing horizontally which represents loving those around us like Jesus would love them.

So whatever we put our hands to in life remember this: love Jesus four times more than you love anyone else, and love others to the degree that Jesus would them.

We have two hands which reminds us that the entire law boils down to these two commandments.

Our feet are created with Jesus’ same message in mind; four toes are the same and the big toe is like the others but uniquely distinct from the others. So wherever we walk in life remember the highest commandment, and on these two commands the whole law stands.

With the highest reverence possible, the law hangs on two commandments, and so The Fulfillment of The Law hung by His two hands on a tree.

Now let’s look at the right hand in particular and see the amazing design written on our bodies.

Each finger is divided into three segments. 3 segments, 1 finger; 3 in 1.

The index finger (1) represents Our Father.
The middle finger (2) represents Jesus.
The ring finger (3) represents the Holy Spirit.
The little finger (4) represents the Bride of Christ.

The Lord developed the hand with the picture of His Bride (Jew & Gentile = one new man) positioned next to the Holy Spirit which speaks of this verse:

Revelation 22:17 – The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.”

You’ll notice that the middle finger is lifted up higher than the others, and whenever the middle finger is lifted up in seclusion it becomes symbolic of a curse. So Jesus was abandoned, lifted up (on a cross), and became a curse.

Galatians 3:13 – Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree.”

The Mouth

There are two rows of white teeth in the mouth and both rows join together to chew, breakdown, and destroy food.

John 6:55 – “for My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.”

The top row of white teeth is symbolic of the pharisees, scribes, and religious leaders in Jerusalem.

The bottom row of teeth is symbolic of the Romans.

Jesus was destroyed once both of these parties joined together to murder the Lord.

John 18:12 – So the band of soldiers and their captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound Him. 13 First they led Him to Annas, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, who was high priest that year.

Interestingly enough, the two front teeth specifically represent the heads of the pharisaic system at the time when Jesus was killed: Annas and Caiaphas.

Luke 3:2 – during the high priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John the son of Zechariah in the wilderness.

Once food is chewed it moves down into the belly, which is prophetic of the grave.

Matthew 12:40 – “For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”

Matthew 23:27 – “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness.”

Also, classic Roman architecture is white.

This same imagery continues when looking into the design of the jaw. To consume food, the movable lower jaw (mandible), meets the fixed upper jaw (maxilla), and both need to join together to destroy the substance, but only one jaw moves with force. So it was that the Romans were the ones who provided the force, and the Jews didn’t kill Jesus with their own hands, but remained in place to help facilitate His death.

John 19:31 – Since it was the day of Preparation, and so that the bodies would not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken away.

The Eyes

The eye is created in three major parts: The Sclera (white part), the Iris (colored part), and the Pupil (black center). One eye, three parts, 3 in 1.

The Sclera represents the Holy Spirit.
The Iris represents the Father.
The Pupil represents Jesus.

The Holy Spirit surrounds the Father who surrounds the Son. The Son is in the center in all things and the dark pupil speaks of Jesus becoming darkness on our behalf so light could enter into the body. The only place where light enters into the body is through the pupil.

2 Corinthians 5:21 – For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Revelation 4:3 – and He who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.

The greek word used here for the ‘rainbow’ that is around the Father is the greek word ‘iris’.

There are two eyes and one focal point. Once again, there are three parts to the creation. Each eye represents a Person of the Trinity who Witnesses something. One eye is representative of the Father. The other represents the Holy Spirit. The eyes are created to join in at one focal point which is symbolic of Jesus. Jesus always is the point of focus and always will be.

Hebrews 12:1 – Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

We are surrounded by the Father and the Spirit who have been beholding Jesus for eternity.

Acts 5:31 – “God exalted Him at His right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 32 And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.”

Overall Structure of the Body

The exact same way that the solar system was made, is the same way that the major segments of the human body are designed and held together. Click this link to see the similar design of our solar system:

1 arm, 3 distinct parts (3 in 1). Upper arm, forearm, and hand.
1 leg, 3 distinct parts (3 in 1). Thigh, calf/shin, and foot

The Head controls and commands the entire body with its 13 major segments.

3 crosses outline the design of the human body. So when the Lord began creating the first human being, He started by crafting the structure with Jesus’ crucifixion scene in mind.

Matthew 27:38 – Then two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and one on the left.
