Context = The gentiles and eunuchs
Isaiah 56:3 – Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the LORD say, “The LORD will surely separate me from His people”; and let not the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
The gentile strangers, who don’t fit into the Jewish cultural standards, has decided to join themselves to the Lord, and the Lord has a home for them in His temple or place of worship. Also, the eunuchs who can’t reproduce sons and daughters who were previously excluded from the assembly will now be included. All nations will come before the Lord. All peoples, no matter how unclean can come before the Lord, through God’s Salvation Sacrifice.
Deuteronomy 23:1 – “No one whose testicles are crushed or whose male organ is cut off shall enter the assembly of the LORD.”
Isaiah 56:1 – Thus says the LORD: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon My salvation will come, and My righteousness be revealed.
