Proverbs 23:6 – Do not eat the bread of a miser, nor desire his delicacies; 7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you.
Context = God’s judgement against greed
A greedy person thinks of being stingy towards others, and so his mindset condemns him for what he is; a greedy individual.
This specific judgement against miserly conduct is legally paid for under the blood of Jesus.
