John 1:47 – Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”
This is the very first time Jesus and Nathanael are meeting face to face, and even though Jesus wasn’t physically with Nathanael under the fig tree, He was still always with him.
This means that Jesus exists in bodily form in one location and yet is still present in all other locations. Consequently, if Jesus is not omnipresent then He is not fully God and fully man.
Matthew 28:20 – “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
I am with you always = I am omnipresent
